Well I can tell you how I did it.
Drudge used to put a siren up hours before he posted the big story. Anyone that was following him and knew HTML realized that he always posted to www.drudgereport.com/flash.htm
Well I took a gamble and wondered if he already posted it to flash.htm. but didn’t link to it yet when the siren was up.
By golly he did. I grabbed the article posted to FR and voila we scooped drudge. He had minor edits between that version and the final version but we had it first. Oh after that he stopped posting to flash.htm.
Also he stopped linking to FR.com (Not sure if it was at the same time though...but I did find FR from drudge many years ago).

Just out of curiosity, how did you post the link here? You've been here since September, 2000? Pretty sure the blue dress story broke before then. Did you have a different user name then? I'm sure you could find the link to your post if you tried real hard.
