And here I thought I was being given the esteemed opportunity to spew my vast(ly weak) knowledge about all things Eastern European.

I did grow up among a large population of Polish, Czech, Slovak, etc. people from my parents’ generation. They had the warnings that today’s youth don’t seem to heed. They had first-hand knowledge of the USSR.
