Here’s an article from TruePundit that caught my eye - though I haven’t trusted TruePundit since the Wiener sexting broke and they said the NYPD would release the Hillary emails if the FBI didn’t (never happened):

If true, would explain how blackmail was used at the FBI to shut up would-be white hats, though these would-be “white hats” still have to answer for how they were blackmail-able in the first place.
