Current Egyptians are Arabs, not the ancient kind. The Egyptians did not use white paint to portray people, and the colors they used were to show status. They did use dark paint for black Africans.

Beethoven, Ludwig van Beethoven.
You missed him off your list.
(More than once, someone has tried to tell me that Ludwig van Beethoven was black.)

Ancient Egyptian Art...

Was not shy about showing racial differences. In this painting the victors (Egyptians) are clearly shown as much lighter skinned than their captives. The captives also show very distinctive Negroid Features. In the Picture below, Hebrew Captives are shown with beards, curly hair, Semitic features, and lamenting as they play small harps, similar to the "kinor" STILL played in Israel.

And here is yet another:

History is what it is...not what one wishes it was.

I dated a Black girl in college who had red hair and freckles. Obviously mixed race, but what a stunner!

The drawing on the bottoms looks like they domesticated a lot of animals we would think of as wild?

“The influx of Sub-Saharan genes only occurred within the last 1,500 years.”
The Nubian Kingdom of Kush invaded Egypt in the 8th century BC, and their emperors ruled for a century as pharaohs of the Twenty-fifth dynasty. They were expelled by the Assyrians. How much they mixed with native Egyptians I’m not sure. In any case this was far later than the time of Nefertiti.

Ok!
Interestingly, when trying to find a link about the reddish appearance of most mummies’ hair, I only came across racist websites by nutty black pseudoscientists claiming that all Egyptians were sub-Saharan Africans. Reminded me of the time I worked in Barnes & Noble and told a customer that Cleopatra was Greek.
Phew! The internet really is a sewer.

Actually, I think the beautiful wild animals pictured there are “war booty”. As are the unfortunate Black People with yokes on their necks.

Who wore it better? Nefertiti or Barbra?

My Sister and Brother-in-Law both have college degrees and are intelligent.
I was surprised to learn they both thought Cleopatra was Black. I explained that she was a descendant of Ptolemy, one of Alexander’s generals.
They accepted the explanation but two well educated, intelligent people should not be that ignorant. They clearly had been misinformed.

There were indeed some black Egyptians- in Tutankhamun’s family, even.
They picked up some Nubian blood here and there when they occupied Nubia.
Tut’s father or grandfather married the daughter of his chariot army’s leader, who was Nubian.
Then when Egypt’s power waned, Nubia /Kush/Cush was able to conquer Egypt and there was the 25th dynasty (I think) that had the black pharoahs. But it was a very short dynasty of only 50 yrs or so, and was destroyed by the invasion of Assyrians.
