Part of me is discouraged as you are about the lack of public action by Sessions. However, consider this - Trump has kept his word and Trump repeatedly said he wants an AG who enforces the law. It is impossible for me to believe that Trump would keep Sessions on if he was not doing his job. Sessions has also repeatedly stated (and it is his style) that investigations should remain confidential.
Given this, there is a higher probability that Sessions is doing his job and we just do not see it than there is that he is asleep at the wheel. Frankly, given our addiction and the facts that leaks seemed to dominate the transition and early part of this administration maybe he solved the riddle of confidentiality in D.C. with investigations (as it should be).
As an added bonus - and this is definitely Trump’s style - all of the loudmouths on the leftists MSM and within congress are yakking it up continually deriding the President and his administration and making fun of “all the conspiracies.” If they are unraveling the onion in secret even as the congressional investigations and the IG investigation are doing the same it will only require the convening of a special grand jury to investigate these acts and hand out indictments. The detractors and MSM will end up looking like they have a face full of chapstick.
Nothing is certain FRiend, but Trump does not appear to suffer fools lightly so it cannot be the incompetence it appears to be..........
I’m coming around to rethinking Sessions role. Trump always said on the campaign trail that when it comes to our military we will never telegraph our moves. I think he’s taking the same tact here. When you see what these swamp creatures have been doing to him I can’t help but think he’s going to take them down bigly. He’s just making sure Sessions has irrefutable proof and has his legal ducks in a row before the takedown. It takes time if it’s going to be done right.
