I’ve heard, in a casual context, from a former special ops commander that a NK related virus targeting our electrical grid is the top concern in his community.

Have read that in multiple articles. We used to be able to keep a bank running when the computer went down by turning around and using the huge printouts, then updating the info later. Having the electrical grid exposed by being connected has no easy backup, I would think. Or perhaps they prefer efficiency to safety.
