Good. That absurd policy needed a 21st century refresh.
There are reports of people who would purchase L.L. Bean items for pennies at thrift stores and return them for credit.
All that served to do was drive-up costs for honest and decent people like FReepers.

I look for L.L. Bean jeans at Goodwill. Strictly for work pants - gardening, fixing my truck, etc. - they’re usually good for a couple of more years.

L.L. Bean does make good stuff. A few years ago, I had my locker at work broken into. There was a radio, and tools, and some other stuff. However, the only item stolen were my L.L. Bean duck boots. LOL.
