The preponderance of your replies make it clear that you think this whole “Q” thing makes FR look bad, and why would you think that? Because you think it’s stupid. A lot of people could be getting played, I honestly don’t know what the deal is myself. But your trying to shut discussion of it down is only going to cause people who are interested to dig their heels in. You’re seeing that now, and are trying to spin it into some sort of quasi-religious thing, how weird is that? Let it go, walk away, it doesn’t reflect upon you one way or the other, any more than the old Art Bell Coast To Coast threads reflected on you. That was some wackadoodle stuff and I don’t recall you freaking out about that.

If this is true, surely you should be able to find at least *one* of my posts to substantiate the claim. Please reference it for me, because I don’t recall posting the words you have put in my mouth.

Not at all. I would like very, very much for the discussion to proceed. I only wish it were possible to have such a discussion sans all the personal smears, slurs and lies that have been directed at me.
Mostly because FR's been trolled like this in the past. Not sure if you were around for the "Deep in the Hurtgen Forest" scam that was a big thing here on FR "back in the day" when some of FR's best and brightest (and I mean that sincerely, not sarcastically..) were taken in by it and then had their reputations trashed both on and off FR. That whole incident also reflected badly on the posters of FR and by extension, FR itself.
I personally wouldn't want to see anything like that happen again as I have a healthy amount of respect for some of the folks I'm seeing being taken in by all this. Folks that I otherwise consider to be highly intelligent and often insightful that make me think about things I otherwise may not.
That's also why I tend to NOT post on these threads as I'm not "trolling" anyone with my handful of responses just trying to inject a healthy dose of skepticism here. And believe me, I'm a VERY healthy skeptic in this "Q" stuff.
