I agree except I am not a Jew. I am Catholic in my Christian faith. I am a Christian before all else. I do not believe I have to agree with the Pope except when he speaks Ex Cathedra. I don’t think that’s even happened in my lifetime. I actually agree with the Protestant position on many things, as much as Martin Luther before he left the Church. I wish he could have fought harder and with more allies to defeat the Evil ones in the Church and bring it into Glory.
IMHO, this is still a multi-generational fight but I firmly believe God and Jesus wanted/wants one body as a church. It’s what all Christians should strive for!
However, I’m not going to argue my religious believes over another believer. I’m a sorry example, but that’s all I got.
He certainly tried, right up to the point of their plotting to kill him.
"CHURCHIANITY" ... regardless of the label ... doesn't save anyone nor keep anyone living a righteous life.
Walking intimately with Jesus as Lord can/will.
The enemy seems to have targeted organizational Christian leaders in institutions of all labels--to trap them into working for him 'within the camp.' ... sadly.
I hate to reply late like this, but I was off watching auto races here in FLA last night.
I keep thinking of “every knee shall bow” and wonder if those who were wondering, but realize will get the ultimate second chance. Perhaps the ones do so before the enemy is vanquished. However it’s not my judgement. I do believe they will need to come to the same conclusions as Christians because they are also fallen. There is no special provision as certain American pastors will have you believe.
I admire the Catholic faith and choose not to quibble over differences.
