I’m not usually a fan of Pryce having seen him ruin My Fair Lady and hump a Cadillac in Miss Saigon but he’s really excellent in Wolf Hall.

I actually saw Johnathan Pryce hump a Cadillac also, national touring company version of “Miss Saigon” in Phoenix. Never saw Pryce in “My Fair Lady.” I don’t think I could stand anyone other than Rex Harrison as Henry Higgins. I did see a touring company version of “My Fair Lady” in Phoenix with Richard Chamberlain (at least 25 years ago). His Henry Higgins was very much sexualized—to the point were he was literally climbing on top of Eliza in one scene. Then I find out that Richard Chamberlain is gay and my world is shattered LOL!

In Youtube there are some videos of Pryce playing Fagin in a staged version of Oliver! He was actually good—different than Ron Moody’s interpretation, but I liked it.
