Scott Baio wasted no time in disputing accusations from actress Nicole Eggert, who said he repeatedly molested her between the ages of 14 and 17. Baio took to Twitter saying “her claims are 100% lies” before going to Facebook Live in an effort to prove the allegations were false.
Eggert brought the accusations to Twitter after she commented on a tweet referring to Baio’s support of Donald Trump: “Ask [Scott Baio] what happened in his garage at his house when I was a minor. Creep.” This started a series of tweets where she claims she was molested by him from ages 14 to 17 and went into details about the assaults. The two starred together on the ’80s sitcom Charles in Charge.
In a 16-minute-plus video, Baio sits at a desk as if it were a formal press conference going through a stack of documents (which are all posted on social media in their entirety) to prove Eggert wrong. “The reason I’m doing Facebook Live is because no one can edit me,” he said. “This is the truth.” His wife, Renee, can be heard off camera giving him direction on his defense and providing commentary of her own.
Baio says that when Eggert’s first claims against him came up, she was promoting her reality shows — but he kept his “mouth shut” because they eventually go away. Baio said that she “just won’t let them go.”
The accusations came up again in 2017. He presented to two letters that he sent to Eggert and fellow Charles in Charge co-star Alexander Polinksy when they “decided to team up against” him. He told them to go to the police if they have legitimate claims, but they chose not to and instead went to social media where Baio says, “People like me get beat up.”
In the video, he says that Eggert was his best friend and all of a sudden he is a “bogeyman”. He concludes, “The problem with almost all he said-she said cases is they’re he said-she said. Now, go prove it or disprove it.the real problem with this is people with legitimate claims aren’t taken seriously — and that’s too bad.”

Wow, guess Charles really was in charge.
Nicole Eggert, now 41, was recently on Nik Richie Radio and talked about her time back on Charles in Charge in the late 1980s.
Nicole played Jamie Powell, one of the Powell kids taken care of by Charles, who was played by Scott Baio. Both Nicole and Scott were major crushes for teens all over the world.
On the radio show, Nicole revealed that she and Scott, who is now 53, started hooking up during filming. “Yeah, there was some flirting, yeah there was some messing around later when I was like 16. And don’t forget, he was in his 20s.”
But she said they didn’t have sex until later. “I was a virgin until I was 17, almost 18 years old.” She didn’t want to go into the virginity thing on the radio, but they pushed, since she’s dated so many famous people. She said she didn’t lose her virginity to “Marky Mark” Wahlberg. He was close, though.
Nicole eventually revealed that Scott was her first time. She was 17 and started dating another guy and didn’t want to be a virgin anymore. “I was embarrassed I was a virgin, so I needed someone to pop the cherry and make me a veteran.” So she basically asked Scott to do the deed. She didn’t even want to go out to dinner with him, she just wanted him for the experience!
Nicole also hooked up with her Baywatch co-star Jeremy Jackson, but long after they were on the show. She was also engaged for a while to the late actor Corey Haim.

There was audio of the radio interview from the Nik Ritchie radio podcast that has since been removed. It was four years ago.
No such thing.
He was accused of "breaking the law," many years after the fact when real witnesses would be dead or reluctant to rely on memory for serious charges by an attention whore.
Apparently if Scott Baio was a Hillary sycophant, this whole story would have never been made up.

Levels of "proof" in courts of law have strict rules for what is considered adequate proof.
Courts don't give a rat sass what YOU find "highly doubtful."
And how exactly is that relevant?
Maybe you should grow up before posting opinions, or double up on your senility meds...
even some one who is conservative can be a shmuck....when I was 20 I dated a 17 year old and I felt very awkward about the age difference. this is a he said she said and years have passed but he does admit to dating her when she was 17 and he was 29. so I personally would believe it and if I had teenage daughters be very weary of there contact with him but at this point to much time has gone by to be sure of anything and to put it bluntly it all could be a lie at this point we just don know
17 year olds can’t consent in the state of California, so if true, he was guilty of statutory rape.
I don’t think that helps Scott’s case. Just saying.
As someone who watched it quite a bit back then, I just thought there was a weird vibe between the two. So, if these allegations are true I won’t be shocked. Believe what you want.
The lady is 46....why are they waiting forever to come forward if such is credible?
She is accusing her of “molesting” her when she was FOURTEEN.
In the article linked at post 4 she admits that NOTHING HAPPENED until she went TO HIM when she was almost 18.
She isn’t accusing Scott of statutory rape because she was technically not quite old enough when she ASKED HIM TO RID HER OF HER VIRGINITY SO SHE WOULDN’T BE A VIRGIN WHEN SHE HOOKED UP WITH “MARKY MARK” WAHLBERG.
She is accusing him of molesting her starting at age 14 because she is now a past her use by date former star who is using the #metoo thing for another 15 minutes of fame.
