Do Jews really like having to play Fagin over and over again?

Some would say Dickens appropriated from them.

Maybe even Lionel Bart and Ron Moody would have liked to see a gentile play the role every once in a while.

The movie won't be very good.

But then what is?

I'd rather see John Lydon as Fagin. He was cast to play Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar a few years ago but that lavish show closed before it opened.

Just think, he could play the thing as a lampoon of the Sex Pistols' own dishonest mentor/manager/ringleader Malcolm McClaren.
