Kelly: We won’t build all of Trump’s wall, and Mexico won’t pay for it

White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly told Democratic lawmakers Wednesday that the US will never build a wall along the entire southern border and that Mexico won’t pay for what we do erect — refuting one of President Trump’s top campaign promises.

I don't know what to make of this. I don't know if this is a complete fabrication or if this guy Kelly should feel the thud of a polished wingtip between his butt cheeks ASAP. Since when are we talking about a bit of a wall here and there? We already have areas with mere fencing and we see how effective those are at keeping the vermin from Mexico and farther south out. They can't count on rivers keeping them out, as the Rio Grande itself is not that deep and can easily be crossed. I would think that rivers and mountains could be walled off in a fashion. It would require some very elegant engineering, but what are all those engineering schools we have across the country for?

I saw the interview- Kelly says we need 800 miles of Wall NOT 2500 - he came from DHS. He understands the terrain- senseless to build a wall over a mountain in the desert, instead use high tech (drones, etc). Kelly is 110% behind border Security - MSM just spinning his words ...

I've learned to not believe everything I read-- especially initial MSM reports that put this Administration in a bad light and particularly stories that have no direct quotes or just a bunch of chopped up quotes without context.
