I'm not the most tech-savy millenial (I'm almost 70), but I find Windows 10 fairly easy to navigate, it has some useful apps, and it's more secure.

Ever since I upgraded to 10 there’s an automatic update every time I turn around, then it messes with my personal settings.

Install Classic Shell in Windows 10 and continue to run 10 with the Windows 7 user interface. Works terrific.
