(Meredith) The owner of a Chick-Fil-A in North Dakota has apologized after a mother claims the restaurant kicked her out for breastfeeding without a cover.
Macy Hornung said she was nursing her child at a Fargo Chick-Fil-A when the franchise owner approached her Saturday evening. She said the owner asked her to cover up or leave the restaurant.
I was showing no more than the upper portion of my breast, barely more than what was visible in my shirt, and (she) asked me to cover, Hornung wrote on Facebook. I tried to explain that I couldnt because my baby refuses to be covered.
The mom said the owner also reminded her that men and children were dining at the restaurant.
I said they could practice the simple art of looking away She told me if I chose not cover, then she would have to ask me to leave, Hornung wrote.
Instead of complying with the owners request, Hornung decided to pack up her things and leave. Her husband, Casey Hornung, said he was outraged over the incident.
"I was angry for the words that woman spoke, he told WDAY-TV. I was angry at the way my wife was treated. I was worried about her, and how she was feeling.
The couple shared their story on Facebook when they returned home, and the post quickly went viral.
Hundreds of people who sided with the mom left bad reviews on the restaurants Facebook page and gave the location one-star ratings.

These women are promoting a liberal agenda and nothing more, part of that agenda is to make conservatives look bad for objecting to their stunts.
I challenge one of these women to do their stunt in a ritzy restaurant that is a favorite of wealthy liberals. They won’t, that would not suit their agenda of rubbing it in the face of conservatives. It really wouldn’t suit their agenda if the wealthy liberals didn’t want them doing it at the table while they and their families were eating.
Personally as a matter of convenience to me it makes better sense to make sure a child (who can’t order from the menu) be well fed before going out. That way mom can enjoy her meal and she can be fairly certain her child will not be overly fussy. She may not have been able to find a secluded area. Which I agree for the sake of the child’s comfort is the best choice. Not a bathroom unless it is a lounge.
I don’t find it immodest for a woman to nurse in public even when part of the breast may get exposed. A baby’s head covers a lot. I get that others disagree. What I take issue with is those who have made this about her looks. Don’t claim it is a disgusting immodest insult to public decorum because she is obese. Either it is or it isn’t no matter the beauty rating of the mom.
“And breast ink”
I saw that. She’s probably got Woody Woodpecker on her ankle.
No she set it up knowing the manager would interfere with her show. That was an important part of her show. If she had been ignored it would not have suited her agenda and she would likely have thrown a tantrum about something else.
You come across as a SJW. Are you this woman in the article? And yes she is a manatee. Deal with it.
I am a Catholic and a child of the Most High King. Deal with it.
Put it this way there is no beauty rating for this one. The only thing that would suit this is a burka or a pile of mud.
I do pray you do not live in the same part of Florida as me. But I am quite sure if you did the celestial choir lauding your Adonis-like looks would alert me to your presence. I do hope you give them a day off now and then.
I used to be a catholic when I was young and was brought up in it. Then I learned to think for myself and found my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and left “religion” behind. I’d suggest the same for other recovering catholics.
Keep praying Shamu, the feeling is mutual.
I am sincerely (no snark intended) that you have found and held onto a personal relationship with Jesus. To be without Him is something I cannot even fathom. How does one truly live absent from His love?
That should read “I am glad...”
That would work also.
I have reported your personal attacks.
I wish more women would cover their chests - with clothing, not tattoos - whether they’re nursing a baby or not. Do they think they’re doing men a favor by slopping the bloobage all over the place in public?
so typical of SJW. Enjoy your stay at Free Republic.
In the years I have been on FR I have very seldom resorted to reporting abuse. But it is FR own policy that personal attacks are not allowed. If you are unable to ken that simple rule perhaps a moderator could go over it with you.
I just looked up your oast comments and I remember recently you were all up in arms because some people called Eliza Dushku trashy for makes false charges about her being molested when she was 12 which is 20 something years ago and no one is buying it, BUT YOU. Just like this thread you are being the SjW standing up for the POS woman in both cases.
I don’t know either of these women and I suspect I would be 100 percent in opposition to their world view. I did find it galling that people were implying that how Eliza Dushku is now somehow made her allegations of being abuse at the age of 12 unbelievable. Notice I did write allegations, which means I don’t necessarily believe her.
Notice I’m not calling them allegations? I am calling it 100% fraud! This woman waiting until NOW to come out with this and she never told anyone even Arnold Schwarzenegger about this? Not buying it, the trashy chick lied.
