My guess is that there are going to be actual price drops in ticket prices. Probably not on the list price, but some kind of “buy 4, get one free” type deals.

Yes the marketers will be busy this offseason, jacking off the morons who will shell out real money to watch a charade every Sunday. Anything to, in the immortal words of the climate fraudsters, “hide the decline.”

I tend to agree....various discounted tickets will exist. Any team that came out of this season with a really lousy record will be offering a lot of 50-percent off tickets to get folks into the stadiums. I also think season tickets will take a hit.

There’s also the problem with fan paraphernalia. A lot of sports shops are existing now off NBA and MLB stuff. All of the clubs were making a generous income off jerseys and various other items. I expect drafted rookies to make less on contracts offered.
