Maybe we are lucky that evil is lazy and that these evildoers thought they would be in power and didn't think they would have to hide from anyone.

Agreed. We are lucky but the documentation seems to add, in my opinion, to the surreal nature of this corruption. Betraying their own country, all their family members and friends, but at least their paperwork is in order...
