For 41 years, nothing out of the ordinary has occurred at Dawn Scarpullas split-level home, until now. She recently heard a big boom, she says.
I found ice yellow ice on my roof, she tells CBS 2s Vince Gerasole.
The yellow ice broke apart and cracked her ceiling. When we put the pieces together it was like a five- to six-foot piece of ice, so it was big, Scarpulla says. She is keeping a sample of the mysterious yellow ice in her garage freezer, for analysis.
Planes that land at OHare International Airport fly over her home, making Scarpulla wonder if an aircraft may be to blame.
Police have since examined her home twice, taken pictures of the scene, and even collected yellowish remnants in a red evidence bag.

That’s really an oldie like “Under the bleachers by C. Moore Buttz.
If that happened to me, I’d be pissed.
Lol.
They should have skydumped the lavs farther from the airport.
Does it look like someone attempted to sign their names?

You’re looking at a $100,000 repair bill there!

Holding tank dump at high altitude!

Pretty funny, and an underappreciated response on this thread!
It’s not that mysterious if she readily admits that aircraft fly path fly over her house towards O’Hare.
Probably the urine reservoir from an Air India flight or something like that...
