I recently finished “Vanish” by Brian Petersen and “Nobody’s Angel” by Tom McGuane. Loved them both, although I’m usually a nonfiction reader for the most part.
I’m 2-3 chapters into “Celebration” by Harry Crews. It’s a little strong so I might not be able to finish it.
Some of my favorite books of all time are “All Over but the Shoutin’” by Rick Bragg and “Liar’s Club” by Mary Carr.
Also loved “Somerset Homecoming.”
A book I’ve returned to over and over again is “Nicholas and Alexandra.”
