A neighbor has a son in the military stationed in Hawaii...she was having a meltdown this morning. I felt terrible for her. Her son, her daughter-in-law, grand baby all right there. I have family in the military now and still cannot imagine...
Lots of scary stuff going on around the world but our swamp is not concerned about anything but getting Trump before he can get their swamp drained. Pathetic.
I was almost going to ask her if everything was okay - if she needed help. But I was thinking that she was just getting frustrated with either a really small child (that wasn’t getting dad on the phone) - or perhaps a mentally disabled child. Obviously the child was freaking out as well. In hindsight the mom was keeping pretty calm - no doubt for the sake of the child.
I probably wouldn’t have been much help anyway. Not sure how I would have reacted if she said “I don’t know how you could help. My family is in Hawaii and they just received notice that a missile is going to be landing on them any minute now.”
