I still can’t figure out why interstellar spacecraft need headlights or flashing lights. To get here, they would have to be flying faster than the speed of light, thus making headlights useless.........

Same reason the FAA and other aircraft regulating agencies require clearance lights on all plane!

Do not want them running into each other, now................

I suppose they don’t want our airliners colliding with them, they don’t want to collide with each other, and their cameras need light.
