Who is your pick?
At least Mullen has a track record in the SEC, unlike Shark-Guy.
I saw the Doobie Brothers last summer. Even without Michael McDonald, they were very entertaining! I enjoyed the show, and expect you will also. Plenty of good hits.
The Tommy Johnston Doobie Brothers are much better than the Michael McDonald Doobies. Just wish they still had Tiran Porter, probably my all-time favorite rock bassist.
Shark-Guy! ROTFLOL!
Good. I read about that on FB. People on there are disgusted with that player.
Gotta love bassists! Unsung heroes in my book!
If Alabama ever decides to get into this game, they have a chance still. They better do it soon, though.
A different ending to that - starting with a game on your list:
Middle Tennessee over Syracuse
We then have:
UAB over Middle Tennessee
Charlotte over UAB
NC A&T over Charlotte
and, since NC A&T was undefeated, we’ll let them share the National Championship with UCF
Meanwhile, there’s a game tonight. I don’t care who win’s, but I sure hope Alabama loses.
Were they listening to me? Seems that with the new qb, they have new pep in their steps!
Wow, this ‘bama freshman QB ain’t scared!
What a difference a good passing QB makes.
Good to see Tua making things happen.
About time!
Dang, Bama’s true freshman quarterback is GOOD.
Go DAWGS!!
Now, THAT is what you call airing the ball out and letting the receiver run under the ball!
Agreed.
As an aside, I do not follow sports that much until some close friend looses his mind. One such occasion was when his Big Ten team was left out of the national championship competition. As the avid cynic he is, he blamed it on the ESPN/SEC connection with the Bowl Committee with the added, “follow the money” cliche. So I went digging around a bit. Again I am not an avid sports fan so some of this was news to me but not so much to some here in FR.
Apparently ESPN has a huge stake in the SEC cable network and millions invested in broadcast contracts with them hence ESPN makes a ton of money anytime an SEC team ends up in any championship. Putting two SEC teams at opposing ends of the brackets improves the odds of one of them making it to the final game. This of course is not possible if the committee does not go along (maybe insert $$ here). Also, looking at the opening of the season’s rankings and the final outcome, it looks as if you have to be in the top ten pre-season if you want to be anywhere near the conversation at the end of the season. Of course, assuming you have a decent record AND the favor of the Bowl Committee. Good luck to the other poor saps from other conferences next year.
Anyhow, y’all enjoy the ESPN bowl and I’ll go stream some old Twilight Zone episodes.
Regards.
I turned it off during halftime.
It’s a cookbook.
Uh oh an INT.
