If that's true, then the movement of water mass toward the center of the earth will result in faster planetary rotation (as demonstrated by Mr. Kruger in his office chair).

This in turn could centrifugally "spin off" much of the Earth's water mass into space (or at least onto shore), causing untold but expensive calamity.

Better get T-Bone from accounting on it.

Actually, what is happening is that the rising
sea level has finally reached some of the man made
tunnels to the inner earth and they are experiencing
Anthropogenic global flooding and have stopped using
SUVs as a result.
