Watching the replays....That young QB looked the safety off.. looked him off.... looked him off to the other side of the field until he committed and then the QBs head snapped back to his receiver at the exact right moment and he threw it perfect.
Perfect timing and perfect throw. Surprise play. Would not have expected that play after such a big loss on the previous play. Aggressive
It’s a darn good thing that Hurts looked so bad in the first half. It made it easy for Saban to make the move. And if Tua had been the starter before, UGA would have been able to better prepare for him.
I think Saban all along planned to play Tua, it was just a matter of when.
