Five generations! My kids only got to know two of their grandparents. My mom and dad were pretty old (45/44)when they had me (surprise!). And I was fairly old when we started having kids (33/30).
Our family cranks us out pretty young ;-). I had all of my grandparents until I was about 43, I had three of my great grandparents around while I was in college. Been blessed with them all being pretty up and about until they passed too, and my surviving grandmother is probably going to be in good enough shape I’ll be able to come through on getting her to see totality in the 2024 eclipse, when she’ll be 107!
