I am 66 , but my mother’s father was born in 1868 just three years after the end of the civil war.

He was 51 when my mother was born in 1919.

Have a kid, break the record!

My Dad was born on 1892 and my son was born in 1999. Grandfather and grandson have already lived in three different centuries and, if God wills it, we could hit four different centuries.

In the mid 1970’s I was in class with a man who was in his 50’s. His grandfather told him stories about meeting President Andrew Jackson. Depending on the ages of the men and women we observe these results. Remember just a few years ago, the last widow of a civil war veteran passed away, well over a hundred years after that war ended.
