The record so far is a plane loaded with passengers on the tarmac for 20 hours. Unbelievable.
One in Canada last eve? Two in a twenty four hour period. Trying to play catch up due to the weather. Time for crews and controllers to take a deep breath and look around.
There was some plane at Frankfurt last year that they had folks boarded for a flight to leave, and then deboarded everyone when the plane had issues (they shut the airport down at 11 PM for quiet hours, and resolving the flight was impossible). So they took everyone to some hotel, and brought them back around noon of the next day, and then waited another four to six hours before that international flight could finally take off.
Need to pack my own TP in carry on for any future flight.
I am waiting for pictures of passengers sliding down the inflatable exits with their personal item and carry-on roller bag while the planer is on fire.
