HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – Detectives say a 6-year-old boy is dead after his stepfather threw him against a wall at a Seffner motel.
Jack Junior Montgomery, 31, faces a felony first-degree murder charge in connection with the death of 6-year-old Brice Russell.
At 10:50 a.m. Saturday, Montgomery called 911 to report he found his stepson unresponsive inside their room at the Masters Inn in Seffner.
Upon arrival, the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue found the child laying in a bed. He was pronounced dead at 10:59 a.m.

Maybe people shouldnt be able to get married or divorced so easily. Maybe hold them to their vows. Its not i will bail and marry someone else if we have bad times. Maybe if a woman is violent or a man is violent we take care of it the old fashioned family way and have the rest of the family beat the living crap out of the violent man or woman until they either get in line or are suggested finally that maybe they better just leave if they want to keep breathing.
I’m not sure I understand what you are trying to say. I’m a stepdad. I fell in love with a family and took on four kids. We love each other like crazy. One girl married a guy so much like me, actually a better version of me, that it scares me to think of the amount of influence I had on her. Their mother and I helped rescue one boy from the alcoholism that ruined his “real” father. We lost the other in an accident just about the same time this poor child was born. I miss him terribly. Please tell me that your wording was clumsy and that you’re not comparing me to this subhuman.

No, statistically the worst place for a child in in the home of a single mother...as compared to ALL other living arrangements.
Worst place for a child is in the home of the bio mom with no bio dad present. Proven statistical fact!

It’s a well known fact that step parents abuse step children more than natural parents. With that said, I don’t doubt there are good step parents but they are the exception not the rule.

Yes, and more, called exceptions to the rule.
He means that, statistically, based on studies done, children face more danger from a mother’s boyfriend or mother’s new husband, as compared to a child’s biological father.
This seems to be conventional wisdom. Yes there are fine stepfathers, of course. But the fact that there are fine stepfathers doesn’t negate the point he’s trying to make.
There are fine single mothers, but single motherhood is not an ideal situation or recommended.
There are many wonderful moral peaceful black young men, but that doesn’t negate the fact that disproportionate numbers of young black men are in youth gangs, doing God knows what.
I’d be happy to throw him against a wall - many, many times.
