Christianity has been growing at a fast rate in the last couple of decades in Iran, that has caused the Islamic government a lot of concern, according to Mohabat News, an Iranian Christian News Agency.
A high profile Islamic seminary official, Ayatollah Alavi Boroujerdi, stated "accurate reports indicate that the youth are becoming Christians in Qom and attending house churches."
Another most senior Islamic Shi'ite cleric, Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi has repeatedly expressed his concern over the spread of Christianity among the youth in the country.
He and his other colleagues blame foreign influence for the conversion of young Iranians to Christianity.
Mohabat News also reports that this high rate of conversion is occurring despite the rigorous Islamic indoctrination of the youth in their families and education.
The Islamic government of Iran gives large amounts of money to the support of Islamic organizations that promote Islam among their youth within and beyond Iran's borders.
However the Iranian youth are becoming increasingly distant from Islam, which is becoming a great concern for the Iranian government.

Truth can’t be stopped. Voices can be silenced, believers killed, but some part of all of us knows what it is. Liberals go crazy trying to shut out that part.
It's an old conundrum. An easy life can lead to decadence, and a life under tyranny can lead individuals to virtue.

Yes, what irony! As atheistic Europe and America slide into the hellhole of decadence, the rest of the world follows the promise of Christ toward heaven.

Two things have been, and now are happening in Iran.
1) There seems to be a number of people having divine visions leading to conversions.
2) Quiet house churches and evangelism has been spreading.
3) Obama is no longer in office protecting the Imams because he desperately wanted a deal. (Recall early in Obama’s first term there was a huge student revolution just getting started in Iran. These revolutionaries sought support from the US (Obama). Obama denied that support and many were then massacred, ending that embryonic revolution.
4) I believe the Trump administration is now quietly supporting Iranians who seek democracy and freedom.
The Persians are not Arab. The Arab Muslims subjugated the Persians.
I thought his name was familiar. He was a powerful voice. I wonder (always) why the Lord would call him home at 34 when the world so desperately needs voices!
I have to admit wondering that myself. He left a wife and a little girl, as far as I know. Perhaps more muslims will start to seek because of his death.
He spoke at my church a few months before he got called home.

Please live in today’s Russia for a bit. Christianity is on display, but it has not overcome its Soviet Past (as even Christians continue to struggle with how to frame the Soviet narrative. Denouncing the so called “evils” of the past outright would mean compromising on patriotism.)
Lenin’s body is still in full display at Red Square. Busts of Stalin are back en vogue.
In terms of combatting social ills such as Soviet/post-Soviet abortion culture, divorce, alcoholism, and domestic violence - there is still a long way to go...and indeed, the HIV epidemic in Russia is at a tipping point.
Don’t forget that Iran and the Kremlin are also very close allies.
Revival is happening in Western Europe including among Muslim refugees and let’s not dismiss the magnitude of Trump’s victory in the states.
I also predict protests in China in the coming years.
I hope so. Iran was a beautiful first-world country before the muzzies got hold of it.
Must be all the Christians rioting over there now.....
