In what has become an annual, Christmas Eve tradition of sorts, I wonder if anyone else out there is spending your Christmas Eve solo.
I suppose we're never really alone if we have FR and the wonderful people who make up the membership here.

I’ve been essentially ‘alone’ for most of my adult life.
I’m used to it. I have enough friendly contact to maintain.
Oh boy, so do I. Sounds so peaceful.
Agreed, the Sim version is the best. Just finished the version with George C. Scott which is also very good.
And I love the musical version with Albert Finney.

Dont always fall for the grass is greener faux mindset.
If you have the ability, watch the episode of The Cleveland Show where they do a 1/2 hour parody of Die Hard. It will make you laugh.

I agree we should always keep a thread going during holidays where people feel more alone than on normal days.
Not fair, I know, but being alone sounds kind of refreshing to me. My life has a different kind of difficulty. I am a bit of a servant to my kids and mom with Alzheimer’s and I don’t have much “me time.” Cooking birthday dinner for mom right now. I can pop in here during the evening and I hope others can too. We don’t celebrate Christmas but we’re giving mom a good time.

It’s quiet here , just me and the best pupster.... Zevi.... in the world. I’m enjoying the Quiet. Very grateful for my little house and yard. Grateful for FREEPR friends. I’m so grateful for Trump.

I had 3 good friends move out of state this year..but tomorrow
