If God wanted to suggest other intelligent lifeforms that would have some impact on his plan of redemption, He would have mentioned it.
As it stands, He is calling and gathering a people to Himself. That is the main theme of the Bible. Little green men running around and adding confusion does more harm to the Gospel than anything. Anything that does not testify to the glory of God through Jesus Christ is from the spirit of the anti-christ. And that is in the Bible, and in the correct context.
After all, how can one know if such manifestations doesn't come from the Prince of the Air, who we know exists to lead men astray? I'll stick to Scripture to interpret this world and the universe.
God is holy, He is NOT prissy.
God put Himself in a box. His Word.
Yes and no.
And you seem to have failed to appreciate how much in the Old Testament God kicked holes in some of the boxes HE had ordered. He insists on RELATIONSHIP. That is dynamic, fluid, a dance--not a straight-jacket in a coffin sort of box.
If God wanted to suggest other intelligent lifeforms that would have some impact on his plan of redemption, He would have mentioned it.
He did. He talked a fair amount about fallen angels. He talked about how horribly intolerable they were in terms of their values and their interactions with mankind.
He talked about some bits of how they would be involved in the End Times--e.g. at Armageddon ... and presumably also in the lying wonders satan would inflict from the heavens on earth in the end times.
As it stands, He is calling and gathering a people to Himself. That is the main theme of the Bible. Little green men running around and adding confusion does more harm to the Gospel than anything. OF COURSE! That is satan's job. That is the job of his fallen angel co-horts. The Bible plainly says that satan is the author of confusion.
We are earnestly trying to wake up Believers to get several clues about some of the forms that confusion strategy is taking with the UFOs and fallen angel critters pretending to be ETs.
After all, how can one know if such manifestations doesn't come from the Prince of the Air, who we know exists to lead men astray? I'll stick to Scripture to interpret this world and the universe.
Uhhhhhh St Paul's letters in the New Testament speak to "how can one know." Holy Spirit discernment is crucial, vital--and all the more so as the end times races on toward Armageddon.
The oligarchy and the ET critters have been seeding deceptions for decades trashing the Deity of Christ; contradicting the historical Genesis record; trashing the Biblical miracles etc. etc. etc.
Yet, from where Qx and I sit and observe, there are millions of Believing Christians who mostly love Jesus as their Savior who are simply poorly prepared for the onslaught of such huge deceptions in these end times.
When the fallen angels start doing 'supernatural' things (e.g. the Bible says satan/they'll call fire down from heaven)--whether via technology or evil spiritual arts--too many Believing Christians will be jolted and their faith potentially may be far too vulnerable to remain standing strong in their faith.
e.g., the critters decades ago were said to have a holographic video 'disproving' the empty tomb' etc. etc. Too many Christians too ignorant of the Bible and too poor at critical thinking on seeing such, will too likely be too vulnerable to having their faith shaken. We want to do what we can to help minimize that.
Having a super high value on The Bible as the source of absolute truth is wonderful, crucial. That does NOT negate the need of being somewhat informed of what is going on in the world around us.
Being isolated monks praying deep in the mountains may have a lot of spiritual impact through their prayers. However, most Christians are called to live in the nitty gritty streets of daily life like most other people. They need to be informed and prepared about the times we live in and the major Biblical script outlining these days, years.
