That would make sense based upon current research.
It was not generally considered good practice in the past.
It would be terrible to lose weight while pregnant if you were very thin. I had a few extra pounds that vanished while pregnant. It was right after I started eating low carb. I also did HIIT running barefoot uphill for the first 2 trimesters. It was fun except for the shin splints. But I couldnt eat carbs, it grossed me out.
