Right. No one of normal or somewhat overweight lbs needs to be on full keto. You simply MUST have natural starches every day to feed the gut bugs. 50-80 g carbs a day is still quite low for Americans. You dont need full keto.
I would agree you don’t need to be on keto and i don’t plan to be once I meet my weight goals (although I plan to stay low carb) but really you dont need to consume carbs, your body is perfectly capable of producing all the carbs it needs.
