“I like Winter Solstice because it means that the days are going to get LONGER!”
Me too, since I generally exercise outdoors in late afternoon. Winter Solstice means it is getting better, light and temp wise.
Well the days, very slowly, start getting longer after the Winter solstice, but here in the Mid-Atlantic, the worst of the winter is yet to come. December generally isn’t too bad, but January and February and even March can be brutal, very cold and with the heaviest snows. But if we get a blizzard in March, at least there’s a good chance that it won’t be dark when I drive home from work through it. :)
