C’mon, who didn’t know Disney would poop all over Star Wars once they got their hands on it. Sorry fanboys, Disney does what Disney does. Disney is all about "girl power". All their movies are for a girl audience. Their "Disney Princesses" are their main money-makers.
Who should be surprised that they would make this latest movie into yet another "Disney princess" movie, where the men are all bumblers and the women have to save the day?
