It's only going to get worse......
I have noticed that many females these days cannot end any conversation, phone or otherwise, or social interaction with friends or family without saying, “I love you.” The 50-something secretary in my office talks to her kids, boyfriend, and who knows who else multiple times a day and ends every conversation with “I love you.” The 20-something bar maid at my favorite Irish pub screams, “I love you” to her coworkers as they leave their shifts to return the next day. It’s not like these people are leaving for a tour in Afghanistan. A simple goodbye would suffice. I find it annoying as hell.
