Nonsense. Concession sales correlate with turnstile attendance (but the stadia don’t want to release that). Parking figures similarly (but that might require a couple phone calls to write the story).
In short, in the immediate term all the ancillary business (the stuff sold to the taxpayers under the guise of “X in revenue will occur if you pay for this stadium”) is being hit. The nuffle and the owners are relatively insulated in the short term.

It would be a hoot if all these businesses who depend on the nfl (such as the network/radio broadcasters, the stadium concessions, the sports apparrel makers, the stores that sell the apparrel, William Hill, chicken-wing producers, pizza shops, bars and all else affected) would open up a can of class action whoopass against the nflol.
I want to see the satellite photos of stadium parking lots at game time.
