Nine Inch Nails.
Nine Inch Nails.
Nine Inch Nails.
Well, you know the old saying...
You are what you eat.
I thought at the beginning he said, “All you Scrippers gotta get out of here....”
I have a 13 year old and we’re sharing space right now so I had to mute it.
If a girl gets near Gene Simmons and doesn’t get groped, she’s just flat out ugly!
You have no musical discernment :)
Get Low is a rap masterpiece.
He did. Purposeful mispronouncement of Strippers. Double play on words: Strippers are often addicts who get scrips (often for oxys or Percocets or the like), and also money is sometimes known as scrip on the street.
I
have
never
heard
even
one
Nine Inch Nails
song.
That’s tough, my musical taste is very wide. Plus of course what’s in the past, so many of the old bands are still kicking and making really good music. My big go to list would be: Frank Zappa (dead), Jethro Tull (officially retired but head guy still around), Steely Dan (50% dead), Iron Maiden (still rolling strong), Black Sabbath (officially ended), King Crimson (still making new stuff) and Neil Young (still prisoner of The Muse). But there’s no punk on that list, so it’s incomplete.
Ok, I get it now.
I’m getting the purple drank vibe.
Two of my favorite songs are by two of your picks.
“Dirty Work” by Steely Dan and “Helpless” by Neil Young.
There is a town in north Ontario,
With dream comfort memory to spare,
And in my mind
I still need a place to go,
All my changes were there.
Blue, blue windows behind the stars,
Yellow moon on the rise,
Big birds flying across the sky,
Throwing shadows on our eyes.
Leave us
Helpless, helpless, helpless
Baby can you hear me now?
The chains are locked
and tied across the door,
Baby, sing with me somehow.
Is it bad that the only one I have heard of is Zappa?
True 'dat.
Get Low is a rap masterpiece.
I do know all the words to "Rapper's Delight."
First, the original. Animals as Leaders - Tempting Time (Studio Version)
And something just as amazing, a guy who does a piano cover:
I have to give the best “roll down your window and crank it up” award to Sweet Home Alabama.
Keep in mind, Laz, that Disco Dick's woman kicks the crap out of people and that he may put her on you.
She may be adept at woman style. Prepare accordingly to counter that style.
Drunken monkey is good.
Helpless, Last Waltz, with Joni Mitchell on the assist, doesn’t get much better.
Whoa, that was headbanging!
Couldn’t finish it, sorry. I think I’m too old. The piano one was better. It reminded me of Charlie Brown music on speed.
Johnny Cash liked it so much, he covered it just before his death.
Since you started your crazed p*ssy hat postings I have: done dishes, sauteed garlic & shallots for dinner, eaten some of my husband’s star wars cheezits, read some of my book & had a lazy Sunday nap & I come back & you’re still posting & crying.
Get a hobby.
Ok, yes, I have heard the Johnny Cash version. I feel redeemed.
It’s so sad though!
