I joined a hand quilting guild where we make Quilts Of Valor for vets, and charity quilts for children in foster care.
Hubby bought a mega telescope.
We both have time to help more in our church.
Ten years ago we said we’d travel a lot after we retired. Then we rescued some feral kittens so are pretty much tied down to home.
Also, Hubby volunteers at Hospice and has two clients assigned to him.
We’ve got two dogs that keep us tied down. We love them so much and they give back so much. I’ll be close to 70 by the time they die so by then it’ll be too late to travel.
There is always something to do around the house. Need to replace the fence, repair the alarm system, sand and paint the window sills, repaint the trim throughout the house.....
