“Capitalism” is a term created by Karl !arx, in Das Capital.
The Soviets pushed the concept of “the new soviet man” who had no self interest at all,,,just the interest of the collective.
A primary fault of communism is that it denies human nature, and in fact humanity itself.
Collectivism is very much a staple of communism. In this sense the Soviets were in fact “true” communists. The Great Famine was a direct result of the communists collecting the crops of farmers, even the seed for next year’s crop until they starved to death, because they weren’t deemed worthy for redistribution. No one was, actually, because much of this was sold on the international market.
There should be a “Socialism” version of that one, too.
