I found the Great American Baking Show and we watched the first episode from the auto DVR on Dish network. My mom loved it (and so did I) so I went searching for episode 2. Searched and searched. It wasn’t anywhere, and was supposed to be on Hul7 but didn’t come up in any searches. So frustrating!
So I hit up Google. Whaaaaat? One of the chefs is now accused of multiple sexual assaults, so ABC stopped airing it after episode 1, and Hulu doesn’t want it.
So sad. All the contestants, all the people who worked on the show. All for nothing because some idiot couldn’t keep his hands to himself.
I have now found the Great British Baking Show on Netflix so we will try that next.
The Great British Baking Show is excellent if formulaic. The bakers are brilliant - all amateurs.
Say what?!? I was all set to watch it a couple nights ago but it wasn’t on. The tv scheduled showed it was supposed to be but couldn’t find it anywhere. So, now we know. Why not just air it? Why punish everyone else involved in the production and the other contestants? Surely, it’s already been finished and in the can, so to speak. Actually, that judge was freaky from day one so can’t understand why they’d have hired him in the first place.
Read that icky Batali has also been fired at ABC. Not the least bit sad to see him off the air. Maybe he can go back to cooking for the Obamas.
