It's a given that most of the crap on the MSM is a lie. We all know that. Some FReepers think we have to be constantly reminded of that, but we don't. It is obvious to anyone with half a brain.
If we have to post an issue regarding a lie, we should find and post reasonably reliable sources that have already deconstructed the lie and replaced it with the truth and with a headline that says the truth. If you’re told a lie, don’t repeat it. Lies are strengthened, not defeated, by repeating the lie. Lies are defeated by repeating the truth. Neutralize the lie by speaking the truth.
What is our goal? Whatever our goal is, that is where our focus should be. You never reach a goal if your eyes are constantly somewhere else. We should have our eyes on the prize - in this case, politically, what it takes to recover our Free Constitutional Republic. That should be our goal upon which we need to major and focus.
So to do that, we should be mostly publishing the truth on FR, not the lies, and as much good news as possible to bolster morale. We need much more of that on FR IMO. The key is the headline and the first few sentences because not everyone has time to drill down the hundreds of posts streaming across FR. The endless stream of negative, lying headlines sabotages our purpose on FR IMO. Some have said that when they first visited FR they thought it was another leftist site with all the steaming Lying Leftist headlines.
This is not advocating externally-forced "censorship". It is disciplining ourselves to focus on the right thing. Mindless repetition of Leftist lies won't get us there. Faith and focus on what it will take to recover our Free Constitutional Republic will get us there.
