My wife says that Hallmark Christmas movies are a delightful return to 1950’s TV family-entertainment values. Makes me glad I married someone much younger than me (84 vs 79).

Hallmark Channel on demand plays their movies with no commercial interruption too. Mighty white of them.

Turner also sometimes shows some truly wonderful movies from back in the days of patriotism and family values.

At Christmas, The Bishop’s Wife comes immediately to mind. The original Cary Grant, Loretta Young version—lovely film.

Of course, you have to be careful—Turner also shows complete trash.
