AS I don’t know anything about the provenance of those two certificates, I’m not going to attempt to explain that anomaly. There is a theory floating around that the Ah’nee certificate was used to create the LFBC for zero. And no way were there 456 births between August 4 and September 1.

The date stamp at the HDOH wasn’t calibrated properly? Just spat out numbers at random?

That’s the ticket...

Acccord to the CDC in August, 1961 there were 1460 births in Hawaii.
