Thanks. Been trying to find the original recording and always end up finding a re-recording that frankly sucks.

I don’t know much about Badfinger. Were the Beatles involved with them, or did they just copy the style?

Badfinger was signed to the Bearles’ Apple Records. I know Paul contributed some harmony vocals on some songs.

When the Beatles formed Apple, their record company, Badfinger was among the first bands they took under their wing for it.
Paul wrote and produced “Come and Get It” for them.
And George produced and played the slide guitar on this song posted “Day After Day”.

The Beatle boost was nice for them but I think their own musical identity got lost because of it in the end.

That’s exactly right some of those recordings labeled bad finger are actually someone else even on Napster or ITunes

It’s a pity so many of those guys die Young

It’ll be about breaking bad now for anyone under 50
