10,000 texts to one person?
Even if that is 5,000 each, that would be almost 14 texts a day sent (each) to the other every day for a solid year.
14 text a day would be easily accomplished.
Girls love to text (including Instagram, Snatchchat, and Facebook Messenger). I’d be very surprised if these “10 000 texts” had a sex ratio anything like 1:1.
It would be so modern and chill if they used snatchchat to pass around drafts of the dossier, though.

i suspect each request/response line typed is counted as a “message”, so 14 “messages” a day average each is probably not excessive. i suppose one could call a group of such “messages” a messaging “session”, in which case that could be 3-5 messaging sessions a day.
