St Moritz, Switzerland (CNN)A number of US athletes have spoken out against Donald Trump during his presidency -- and skier Lindsey Vonn has become the latest to have her say. Targeting Olympic gold at February's Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, Vonn is in St. Moritz, Switzerland, where she spoke passionately about what it means to compete for the US ski team. "Well I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the president," Vonn told CNN's Alpine Edge.

Shows yet again how childish libs are. Plenty of conservative athletes held their tongues and met with Obama despite the fact that they despised him. And that’s because conservatives, unlike liberals, have impulse control, class, and respect for their country.
She was happy to represent Obama who broke all our laws by running for President and winning twice when he wasnt an actual US Citizen. Who made international deals to hurt our country. Who attempted to destroy our fair and free economy and turn it into a socialist system with crony kickbacks.
Shut up and ski. I hope you fail.
Maybe the tiger sperm is slowly poisoning her with steroids and ambien.
I remember that he was going to make a “late” comeback, but crashed in training or an early season race and was in a coma until he died. Lindsey Vonn is lucky that she only injured her back yesterday. Super G is fast enough to kill or brutally injure those who fail on the way down. She should retire now.
You from the UP?
WoW! Winner!
I grew up there, on the east end of Ottawa National Forest.
Yikes, that’s waaaaaaaaay up there! I grew up in Boyne City....One of my BC classmates skied for Northern Mich Univ. probably 69 - 73
I raced with my high school team all 4 years through 75 and then started following work south. Now I’m near Raleigh. I was UP there 2 weeks ago for a memorial service. I stayed and skied at Ski Brule, where I learned to ski and race. It was incredible! Me and 2 ski patrollers, all day in the middle of the week. The lift operator told me I was the first customer when I got there...there never was a second. I still haven’t made it to Boyne Mt.
I gave up skiing, can't tolerate the cold anymore. Last trip was to British Columbia with my nephew and his friends back in 2003.
A couple of my '68 classmates work at Boyne during ski season and could likely get me free lift tickets but the 4 1/2 hour drive from here in S.E. Mich and the potential of snow storms just isn't worth it anymore.
Boyne isn't the same town I grew up in anymore, too many lakeside condos and houses of S. Michigan transplants who want to turn it into northern Michigan's equivalent of Bloomfield Hills......
At Thanksgiving I tried to give my skistuff to my niece's 13 year old son but he's too big for my boots and he prefers that stinky snowboarding.........LOL!
