Some might be. Also “arcing” power lines, careless smokers, sparks from power tools, etc.

Usually brush fires get put out pretty quickly, but its been really windy, and that makes it harder.

Power lines seem to be the main culprit here in West Texas, when the winds get up they start slapping. We lost half the ranch to power lines arcing 6 years ago.
