A president pardoning himself would almost certainly lead to impeachment and removal. That would end the benefits an ex-president is entitled to, and preclude him from holding further public office.
Bottom line is that impeachment is a political act. There need be no prosecutable crime.

“And Sen. Feinstein simply doesn’t know what she’s talking about when she says it’s obstruction of justice to do what a president is completely authorized to do under the Constitution.”

Yet, Zero illegally sends planes-full of $$$ on pallets (lying to Congress and the People that it was in exchange for prisoners...again, illegal, IIRC)....not a peep from either party/Deep State/MSM
Zero’s hot-mic of ‘being more flexible’ to Russia....not a peep from either party/Deep State/MSM
Zero\Holder’s F&F to strip the People of their 2nd A. Rights....not a peep from either party/Deep State/MSM
*sigh* List would be too damn long...
Remarkable that Dershowitz is standing alone among the tens of thousands of lawyers and judges in this country.
It’s more proof that our constitutional Republic is in grave danger.
The Dems modus operandi is to cheat. A strong, constitution-following Supreme Court is our biggest defense against their over-reach and corruption.
You cannot charge a president with obstruction of justice for exercising his constitutional power to fire Comey and his constitutional authority to tell the Justice Department who to investigate, who not to investigate, Dershowitz said during an interview with Fox News. No, but he could be impeached.
Which has always been the ultimate goal.
That’s not to say that he CAN’T pardon himself. It’s never been tested, and probably never will. It may not be politically wise, but that’s not to say that legally it can’t happen.
