In other cfb coaching news, Jonathan Smith, the former OSU QB and current Washington OC, is the new Oregon State coach. Tough place to succeed but maybe a former star player who was there the last time the Beavers were good can pull it off. If Smith is successful, being an alum, it might be a bit harder for a bigger school to poach him.
Todd Graham averaged 7-5 seasons at ASU and got fired. If Jonathan Smith averaged 7-5 seasons at OSU, he could hold that job forever.
Pretty much true as regards OSU. The thing is, the community and alumni are not that demanding. Not getting embarrassed seems about the extent of the wish list.
